Year 9 Graduation

Dear Parents and Carers

We would like to take this opportunity to cordially invite you to our Year 9 Graduation Ceremony that will take place Wednesday 9th July for X band students and Thursday 10th July for Y band students. The graduation ceremony will celebrate the hard work of the students and is a stepping stone to starting GCSEs. Students will be awarded a graduation level based on their effort that they have been awarded throughout the year on their Praising Stars reports.

You will need to arrive at 1.50 pm for a prompt 2.00 pm start. Please make sure you arrive on time, as the ceremony will begin shortly after. On arrival please sign in at reception and you will be directed to a seat in the Bistro. The proceedings will finish at approximately 3.00 pm. 

As space is restricted on the day, we kindly ask that only 2 family members per student attend the ceremony. In addition there is no available parking onsite at this time.  If you are parking off site please be mindful of our local residents.

During the ceremony, students will be dressed in full graduation attire including; cap, gown and a graduation scroll. Light refreshments will be offered after the ceremony along with opportunities for photographs of the students in their graduation attire at the end of the ceremony. Photography during the ceremony will not be permitted.
