We welcome all children to Outwood Academy City Fields and we prioritise admission for children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).
We have a comprehensive support programme and our policy is available below.
The Outwood Academy City Fields SEND Coordinator (SENDCo) is Nabil Alyas , who you can contact via the details listed on our contact page or by emailing n.alyas@cityfields.outwood.com.
The Academy Council representative for SEND is Michael Devaney.
Any concerns or complaints about SEND provision by parents or carers should be initially raised informally, whether by e-mail, letter, or a telephone call with the SENDCo.
The SENDCo will investigate and report back within a week.
If the parents or carers continue to be dissatisfied, a complaint should be raised as per our complaints procedure by completing the Complaint Form at Appendix 1.
