Dear Parents/Carers
This year, we’re partnering with The Engagement Platform (TEP) - a research-led engagement tool that will help us better understand your experience by gathering your feedback.

The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete, and can be completed on your phone, tablet or computer. We want to hear all views - both positive things and areas for improvement. Your honest feedback helps us understand how to support all families better.
Your feedback will also be used to help understand how parents and carers feel across the country. This national research is undertaken by The Engagement Platform and is completely anonymous. It helps improve things for all families.
Before you start
- You can complete this in your own language. There will be an option to select your language when you start the survey.
- You don't have to do this survey. It's your choice. We encourage you to participate, because hearing from many different families helps us support everyone better.
- More than one person can take part. Each parent or carer in your home can answer the survey – we encourage feedback from everyone who wants to share their views.
- No one at school sees your individual answers - only overall patterns from all families together. There’s no way for us to track who has said what.
- This won't affect your child in any way - positive or negative
- You can be honest - there are no right or wrong answers
- Your feedback is really valuable and useful – we’ll use it to understand things we’re doing well, and areas where you need more support
Your Privacy is protected
We will not know who you are. You stay completely anonymous. You don't need to give your name or contact details. Only combined results will be shared with us by The Engagement Platform – for example “50% of families feel welcome”. The school never sees individual responses or knows who said what.

What we'll ask you about
The survey will cover:
- Quick questions about you and your family, such as how many children you have at our school.
This helps us understand everyone's feedback better. You can skip most of these questions if you want. (2-3 minutes) - Your thoughts about the different aspects of school life (4-6 minutes)
- How you support learning at home (1-2 minutes)
Safeguarding notice
If you have concerns about your child's safety or wellbeing, please don't use the survey. Please contact the academy on enquiries@cityfields.outwood.com immediately so that we can address your concerns.
