Dear Parents/Carers
We are writing to inform you about an initiative we are launching in Religious Studies called the ‘10% Challenge’.
The aim of the challenge is simple: we are encouraging all students to improve their November mock score by 10% in the March mocks. Whilst this may sound ambitious, it represents a small, achievable improvement that can make a significant difference to a student’s final GCSE grade.
To support students in meeting this challenge, we are asking them to:
- Attend the LRC from 8.00am to 8.25am each morning
- Attend enrichment on a Thursday after school (2.50 to 3:50)
- Attend enrichment on a Tuesday lunchtime
- Complete all homework to a high standard and on time
- Revise regularly using Google Classroom and revision guide
We know that consistent engagement now with these strategies can have a big impact on confidence, exam technique, and overall attainment as we move closer to the GCSE examinations.
Any support at home you can give by encouraging regular revision, attendance at enrichment sessions, and positive study habits is something we would greatly appreciate.
Thank you for your continued support.
Yours faithfully
Mr Dadvar
