Dear Parents and Carers of Year 7 and 8 students
Invitation to our Year 6 Open Evening
I am writing to invite you and your child to our upcoming Year 6 Open Evening on Tuesday 7 October 2025 from 4.30 pm to 6 pm. While this event is primarily for prospective students and their families, we believe it is a valuable opportunity for our current students and their parents/carers to experience the academy in a different context. They have made a great start to the year and we would encourage you to celebrate their success.
This evening will provide you with the chance to walk around and see the academy in action. Teachers will be available in key areas classrooms to welcome you, and you are encouraged to visit departments and see the exciting work taking place. It is a fantastic opportunity for your child to revisit the learning environments they have settled into and for you to meet their teachers outside of the formal classroom setting.
Please note that due to the nature of this event, teachers will be unable to hold individual, in-depth discussions about your child's progress or attainment. If you require a specific conversation about your child's academic development, we encourage you to contact the relevant teacher or your child’s mentor to arrange a separate meeting.
